Carter Leak, IV
Board Member


Carter joined Bank of St. Francisville as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer in August, 2014. He is a graduate of the American Bankers Associationís National Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University and is currently a student in the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Carter served 6 years as Vice President and Controller within the Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance Segment at CB&I (previously The Shaw Group Inc.) in Charlotte, NC. Prior to moving to Charlotte, Carter served in multiple financial roles of increasing responsibility within Shaw including Controller for the Plant Services Segment in the Baton Rouge office and provided financial leadership during periods of explosive growth in size and profitability. Prior to joining Shaw, he served a wide array of businesses and industries at KPMG LLP in its financial audit practice.

Carter is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1997. He is a graduate of the Charlotte Leadership Forum and spends much of his time mentoring young men and boys through many different non-profit organizations including Big Buddy, Young Life, and Rotary International, as well as through local sports programs and his church. Carter currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber of Commerce and is Co-Chairman of the Young Life Committee in West Feliciana Parish.

Carter, wife Brittany and their four young children reside in St. Francisville.
